User Accounts and Eligibility

• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use our services. By using Skilltics, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

User Conduct and Responsibilities

You agree NOT to:

• Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or employers
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (resumes, profiles, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and process your content for the purpose of providing our services.

Our Content

All platform content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to software, algorithms, text, graphics, logos, and design) are owned by Skilltics and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

AI-Powered Services

Our platform uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to provide job matching and recommendations. You acknowledge that:

• AI recommendations are suggestions, not guarantees
• Results may vary and depend on multiple factors
• You are responsible for evaluating opportunities independently
• We do not guarantee job placement or employment outcomes
• AI algorithms are continuously improved but may not be perfect

Third-Party Services and Links

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, or job postings. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for third-party content. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and them. We encourage you to review their terms and privacy policies.

Fees and Payment

Some features of Skilltics may be offered free of charge, while others may require payment. If you purchase premium services:

• Fees are stated clearly before purchase
• All fees are in Euros (€) unless otherwise stated
• Payment is due immediately upon purchase
• Refunds are subject to our refund policy
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with notice

Disclaimer of Warranties

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING:

• Warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
• Warranties that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Warranties regarding employment outcomes or job placement

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SKILLTICS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING:

• Lost profits, data, or opportunities
• Business interruption
• Failure to secure employment
• Damages arising from third-party interactions
• Any other damages relating to your use of the platform

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Skilltics, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse of the platform or other users
• Non-payment of fees
• Any reason at our sole discretion

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Germany, except where prohibited by law. You retain the right to bring claims in small claims court.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or platform notification. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to changes, you must stop using the platform.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced with a valid provision that most closely matches the intent of the original.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Skilltics regarding your use of the platform and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
